Masons Arms, located at 57 High St in New Mills, offers a refreshing escape in today's challenging pub landscape. This vibrant bar has been praised for its impressive selection of cask and keg beers, highlighted by fantastic deals—like a £2 pint during lunchtime, which customers have eagerly appreciated. The welcoming atmosphere is a significant draw, with friendly staff ensuring that patrons feel right at home. Its dog-friendly policy and separate seating areas make it a versatile choice for social gatherings, even during spirited football matches displayed on multiple TVs. Guests have noted the cozy environment, accentuated by solid fuel stoves and varied seating options that foster an inviting vibe. While Masons Arms does not serve food, it compensates with an exceptional drink menu featuring ales, lagers, ciders, wines, and spirits. The enthusiasm of the locals and the engaging ambiance, including jukebox music, make it clear that this is a place to unwind and connect. Overall, whether you're a local or just passing through, Masons Arms stands out as a gem worth seeking out for a lively, enjoyable pub experience.

With so many pubs going under, a very refreshing change to see a pub modernised & given a fantastic makeover, add to that an amazing cask & keg beer choice, as well as a well stocked bar ( A great offer when we visited at lunchtime was a 2.00 a pint cask beer) Great friendly staff ( avoided the photo) Well worth finding & give them some custom!

Not my normal type of pub, lots of TVs showing the footy, but we're able to tuck in to a separate area. Dog friendly everyone customers, bar staff and bar steward were very welcoming and friendly, even offered us hot which had been laid on for tge match. Very good value for money, a pint, G&T and glass of wine for 10ish! ...

Lovely pub. Just recently moved into the area and nice to see a place with real ales busy and doing well.

Great local drinkers pub with ales, lagers, ciders, wines and spirits. A couple of solid fuel stoves and mix of stools, seats, sofas seating provide a comfortable environment across several rooms. Juke box music and TV for football matches give good atmosphere to go with it. Note: NO food served !! (in spite of Google Maps thinking)

Not sure about the drink of the week lol (see photo) but we spent a good deal of time here on our last ale trail stop. Very friendly staff and locals which made this a great experience. Recommend a pint of stormy!

Fantastic local pub, with five well kept cask ales, a couple of traditional ciders, continental lagers, and a well stocked top shelf. Recently renovated, two log burners pumping out the heat, and a friendly reception. Sky sports showing on multiple screens throughout. 10 minimum on card.
